The Deep Dive Series

Registration is open for the December 9 virtual Deep Dive – Construction. Students from any class can attend

This is a 60 minute live meeting with the national construction firm JE Dunn. Students will hear directly from this employer: who they are, what they build and what kinds of jobs are done at this company and what skills they want to see in employees. Students will be able to chat questions directly to the presenters. There will be a short pre and post survey.

As a part of our efforts to provide continued work-based learning during the COVID -19 Pandemic, we are launching a virtual Industry Deep Dive series. These 45-minute-long virtual events are designed to expose students to different industries and allow them to explore various careers within those industries.

The target time frame for the events will be from 10:30am – 11:30am. The 1st Event will be focused on Health/Business December 16th. These virtual events will be recorded for teachers to use at later dates if unable to attend. Please contact me, your career specialist for the zoom information.

Holiday ACCUPLACER Testing

Friday, Dec. 18th, 8am

What is the ACCUPLACER?


The ACCUPLACER supports students ready to start earning credits toward their degree as well as those who need to develop their skills before taking college-level courses. ACCUPLACER scores let students know where they stand academically, which makes it easier for them to plan a successful path toward a college degree.


The ACCUPLACER is also used by Trident Technical College to determine optimal placement in DE College Level courses. There is no testing time limit, however, most complete the exam in approximately 90 Minutes.


  • Lunch will be provided.
  • Virtual and in-person students welcome!
  • Open to 10th, 11th, and 12th graders.

2020-2021 Individual Graduation Plans (IGP) Meetings

The purpose of the IGP is to help student and their parents plan for and explore educational and post-secondary opportunities. These annual conferences are required in order to update and approve each student's plan through utilizing career interests, academic goals, and formal career assessments.
