- "Dress for Success Day" - all students are encouraged to dress in business casual/business professional attire in celebration of National Career Development Month
- CTE PLC at Carver Middle School at 10:30 in Mrs. Covington's Room
- Share with students examples of "soft skills". Resources can be found "Top 20 Soft Skills" and "Skills You Need"
- HS Trades & Industry and STEM to speak to Technology/STEM students at Carver Middle at 2:00 p.m. in the Media Center
- CTE Spotlight on WLNC at 8:30 a.m.
- "College Day" - all students are encouraged to dress in their favorite/potential college shirt or attire in celebration of National Career Development Month

Creativity and style don't guarantee success in the fashion industry; designers also need business and marketing skills. Designers must also be able to write press releases on upcoming fashion shows.
