Introduction
Losing a leg may be crazy to us but to sea stars it is nothing because they can grow back their legs. Like us sea stars eat, reproduce, and have an interesting appearance. The only difference is these small or big animals live on the sea floor and we live on land.
reproduction/life cycle
A sea star can reproduce sexually and asexually. The way it reproduces asexually is that a part of the center of the sea star is broken off and it grows back as two sea stars. The way it reproduces sexually is that the female lays the eggs and the male fertilizes them so they can hatch. When the eggs are layed it takes about 3 weeks to hatch. The three stages of a baby sea star are the bipinnaria larva stage, the brachiolaria larva stage, and the young sea star stage. Finally, this animal can produce up to amazingly 2 million eggs.
Diet
Appearence
This sea dwelling animal looks like no other. A sea star will average 8 to 12 inches across but some species can grow to 25 inches. Humans as an adult weigh about 160 to 200 pounds, sea stars weigh 0.2 to 13 pounds. These wonder of the sea have rough spiky skin making it camouflaged next to a rock that is the same color as it is. Finally, sea stars can be brown, orange, pink, purple, yellow, white, red, and blue. Sea stars can be as bright as the light. Sea stars so bright can be found easy in dark light.

Australian Meat Pie
Ingredients Directions
500 g minced beef pre heat oven at 220 degrees celsius
1 onion chopped brown meat and onion
1 cup water divided add ¾ cup of water, bouillon cubes, ketchup, and
worcestershire sauce, pepper, oregano, and
2 beef bouillon cubes nutmeg
¼ cup ketctup boil and cover for 15 minutes
2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce blend flour with the remaining ¼ cup water until it
becomes a smooth paste; add to meat mix
pepper
let cool
½ teaspoon oregano
grease a pie dish and line with puff pastry
1 pinch nutmeg
add the cooled filling mixture; brush edges of pastry
3 tablespoon plain flour with milk or beaten egg; put the pastry top on; press
edges down with a fork
2 puff pastry sheets
trim edges and glaze with milk or beaten egg
bake in very hot oven 220 degrees celsius for 15
minutes
reduce heat to 180 degrees celsius and bake 25
more minutes, or until golden brown
serve with veggies, fries, or salad
