Teacher Appreciation Week is next week!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the great teachers and educators in Carver for all that you do for students and their families every day. During these unprecedented times, our teachers have gone the extra mile to support students.
To thank our great educators, our next weekly challenge looks for students to create and post a "Virtual Appreciation Message" to a teacher or teachers. This can take many forms, including a picture, card, video message or other medium designed for a teacher or teachers that have made an impact on you as a student.
Don't forget to send a copy to email@example.com
Today is National Principal Appreciation Day and Carver Middle High School salutes one of the most student-centered, aprroachable and hardest-working principals!
Congratulations Mr. Schultz!
We are lucky to have you as our Principal!
CRUSADERS IN (AND OUT OF) THE CLASSROOM
6th graders on the Dragons Team went outside for science class to discover some new species using the Seek app.
We also learned about the digestive system and drew some diagrams at home.
The 6th Grade Dragon Team completed an assignment entitled Circle Art. The students read articles on how circles are used in different occupations, like artists, theologist, architectures, philosophers, engineers, and mathematicians. The had a writing assignment and created art from circles.
Shane Gives Thanks Update:
The food pantry has seen a dramatic increase in requests for food from all over the area as more and more people have joined the ranks of the unemployed and several pantries in adjoining towns have closed. Since school has closed they have distributed over 50,000 lbs or 25 tons of food. Several CMHS students have been working regularly to keep it going including: Chris Cook, Dyllon Kemper, Tevon Safford, Matt Sanabria, Kraig Yenulevich , and of course Shane McColgan.
THANK YOU GUYS!
