Important Dates to Remember:
Friday, March 27th - March Madness Basketball Night sponsored by our PTA.
Monday and Tuesday, March 30-31st - 4th grade STAAR writing test. Our campus will be closed to visitors on these days.
What Are We Learning?
Reading: comparing and contrasting traditional and contemporary folktales.
Word Study: suffixes -ly, -less, -ful, and -ness.
Math: elapsed time, timelines.
Social Studies: westward expansion.
Writer's Workshop: continuing with persuasive writing.

Telling time using an analog clock is a challenging concept for many second graders. As we continue to focus on this skill at school, your support at home would be greatly appreciated!
