Message from Geordie

Happy Friday Everyone!

Another great week here at St Bernie’s, and I am looking forward to celebrating the opening of our new Basketball Courts this afternoon.

In some staffing news, I would like to congratulate Tori D’Ulisse for securing a position at Peter Carnley Anglican Community School, in 2022. We are really going to miss Tori next year but we are excited about this opportunity for her and wish her all the best in her future endeavours. Tori has been a fantastic staff member and leader in our Early Childhood Team, she always goes above and beyond for her students and her classroom is always a heap of fun.

Please save the date for our Christmas Concert on the 7th December 2021, the children will be performing and there will be music and Scottish Dancing. The lovely ladies from the Canteen will be providing food for the evening - more information will be sent home shortly.

Have a great weekend, enjoy the sunshine!

Semester 2 Reports

We are coming towards the end of the year, and we all know that means reports! As with last semester, please make sure you can log into Seqta Engage. If you can not remember your log in or password, please email admin@stbernadettes.wa.edu.au and your log in details will be returned to you.

Once you have logged into Seqta, on the left-hand side (on a handheld device, you will need to select the blue button with three white lines in the top left hand corner) click Assessment, choose which child you would like to view (if you have more than one child on Engage). You will then see that you have access to all previous reports.

Once again, there should be no surprises with your student’s report grades as teacher and parent communication should be open and ongoing. If there are any concerns, please contact your child’s teacher via admin@stbernadettes.wa.edu.au.

Attached you will find the visual that I shared last semester that assists in explaining what each grade represents and an attendance visual that demonstrates how important regular attendance has on learning. Your child’s report will go live on Seqta Engage at 3:30pm on Thursday 9th December.

If you have any further questions or questions, please don’t hessite to contact me.
