ATTENTION SENIORS
Please turn in copies of any scholarship awards for academic and or athletic achievements you may have received to Mrs. Reinholz in the Counseling Office or email a PDF copy to Mrs. Reinholz at skreinholz@mpsomaha.org. Whether you accept the scholarship or not we still want a copy of it. These will be published in the Honors Night Book and the Graduation Book. All scholarship awards must be turned in by April 14th.
PROM CELEBRATION
Event Capacity - With our requirements for social distancing, we will limit the arena capacity to the Millard North Graduating Class of 2021 students only. In addition, students must also be in person learners for the entire 4th quarter of this school year. Admittedly, this is a difficult decision to make given our usual approach of inviting and involving as many students as possible in this great annual event. However, our objective is to make this prom celebration possible for our seniors who were not able to attend prom last year.
Social Distancing - We will have students socially distanced with seating in the Holland Ice Arena. Unfortunately, there will not be adequate space to hold a dance at this event.
Masks - All attendees will be required to wear masks during this school event/activity.
We are combining traditional activities to make this an engaging and enjoyable evening with entertainment and prizes! The event will still be formal/semi-formal attire. The planning committee is busy preparing, and we will provide more information in the near future.

NEED VOLUNTEER HOURS?
We’ll still need volunteers throughout the day, Sunday, April 18, to make this event a huge success in raising funds for our Shelter Nursing Programs. We have needs for volunteers to help with a variety of things: set up, receiving artwork, sorting art purchases, assembling soup sampler bags, directing traffic, checking in guests, Volunteer Services, art and soup runners, coat check in morning for workers, photographers, “day-of” ticket and T-shirt sales, and clean up.
Please email mailto:csully@vnatoday.org or call (402-930-4143) to discuss the volunteer jobs and shifts. Since this drive up event is new to all of us, we’ll need your flexibility in assisting in different areas, as needed, on the day of the event. You will have the option of choosing between a long sleeve and a short sleeve Volunteer T-shirt so please indicate your size and sleeve preference.

New COVID-19 Web Page
Keeping our community informed about the ongoing response to COVID-19 is a district priority. The district COVID-19 web page has been redesigned. It can be found in the same place, on the first page of our district website. You may also click here to reach it directly. Along with safety and response protocols, the page also tracks the virus within our district. It shows current active cases of COVID-19 and current district quarantines, plus the number of active cases per building. The information is updated each weekday morning.
