Hawk Happenings!

Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy

Happy Wednesday!

Greetings!

Thank you to all who have expressed their sympathies about my dad's unexpected passing last week. Some have asked about his services, so I will include a link to his obituary and the information about his funeral mass at Bellarmine this Saturday at 2pm. Here is the obituary: https://www.tuellmckee.com/obituaries/james-francis-dempsey/42419/ (You may recognize the puppy in the photo). All are welcome to attend his mass. My father had been dealing with many health issues over the years and so, in spite of the sadness our family feels over his passing, I know that it is evidence of God's love and mercy for his faithful servant, Jim. It is times like this, having lost both of my parents now, that my faith is so important. I believe that my father is in Heaven with my mom and all of his loved ones who have passed before him. I know that God's love and mercy have granted him eternal life and this gives me and my family a great deal of peace. My dad always worried about what he had to leave his children when he passed and I assured him that he and my mom left us the most important gift a parent can give...the gift of faith (and a Catholic education). I thank all of you for your prayers and love. This is a wonderful community and I am grateful for your support. As you read through this newsletter, you will see all of the other items we are grateful for as we prepare to enter the season of Thanksgiving.

Have a wonderful week.

Blessings,

Katie Dempsey

Principal

Here are a few of the current issues: Leggings are only allowed under skirts/jumpers, NOT as pants. Also, undershirts should NOT be visible under the school shirts (no long sleeved, black shirts, etc.) Socks should be white, navy, or black. Thank You...Hispanic Heritage

On behalf of Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy, we want to thank all of our volunteers for your support and assistance at our Hispanic Heritage Celebration. The list of names is below and shows just what an incredible group of people can do. You brought happiness to the children and their families through the entertainment, food, and decorations. There were so many jobs to fill and everyone was more than willing to step in and help. Thanks to the dedicated parents that coordinated donations from family, friends and local businesses. Your gift demonstrates your commitment to helping our school grow and prosper. God bless you all!
