All sessions will be held at the elementary in Judy Davenport's classroom.

Tips, Tricks, and Innotvative Ideas for Your Classroom

Various technology sessions will be offered to the staff on Tuesday, August 5 and Friday, August 8. These sessions are voluntary and you can come and go as you please. Come for one session or two sessions or even stay for all sessions!

8:30 - 8:55 -- Donuts, Juice, Get Laptops Ready

9:00 - 9:30 -- Let's Get "Drive-ing"


Go beyond composing email and creating Docs. Learn about labels, folders, task lists, and filters get organized in both Gmail and Drive. This session is for you if you want to better familiarize yourself with Gmail and Drive. Many tips and tricks will be shared.

9:30 - 10:00 -- Draw and Presentations


Getting creative and going beyond the basics of Draw and Presentations. Learn tips and tricks to help utilize these great tools in Google Apps.

10:00 - 10:25 -- Extensions That You Won't Want to Miss Out On


This session is all about sharing the best and most practical add-ons, extensions, and web apps. Extensions to be shared: Undo Tabs, Timers, Save to Drive, Google Shortner, Pushbutton, Dictionary, Announcify, etc.

10:25 - 10:35 -- Break

10:35 - 11:15 -- Let's Start A Paperless Workflow: gClass Folders, Doctopus, and Goobric


Learn how to create teacher folders and student folders with a quick add-on! Then let's share out assignments utilizing the Doctoups & Goobric add-ons!

11:15 - 12:00 -- Brainstorming Time or Get Your Questions Answered


You have an idea for a lesson, but need help with the technology aspect! This is the time to get innovative and brainstorm to create those life-changing lessons!

12:00 - 1:00 -- Lunch Break

1:00 - 1:30 -- Tech Tools for Teachers


This session will demonstrate new (maybe some old) and free tech tools available.

1:30 - 2:15 -- ClearSea and Safari Montage


Video creation, uploading, searching for videos. This session will give you the A to Zs of anything that deals with ClearSea and Safari Montage. Get your hands ready for video creating, playlist creating, and how to search the online database of videos.

2:15 - 3:30 -- Brainstorming Time or Get Your Questions Answered


You have an idea for a lesson, but need help with the technology aspect! This is the time to get innovative and brainstorm to create those life-changing lessons!
