Please see this link for our weekly athletics update.
NEW: SVHS Athletic Hall of Fame Nominations
Greetings,
Last Fall, Seneca Valley inducted their inaugural Athletic Hall of Fame Class. It was a great event and a great way to start a new tradition at Seneca Valley. We are excited to announce that nominations are now open for our Class of 2022 Inductees. It is important to note that those nominated that did not get in last year, are automatically up for reconsideration for three years after initial nomination.
The purpose of the Seneca Valley High School Athletic Hall of Fame is to recognize and honor those Seneca Valley High School athletes, coaches, administrators, and supporters who excelled in their respective sports or coaching/support roles. These are individuals who helped to bring honor, recognition, distinction, and excellence to Seneca Valley High School by their conduct both on and off the field, or court, of competition. This recognition will help maintain the spirit, pride and sense of community as well as serving as a historical account of the great athletic traditions of Seneca Valley High School.
Please use the form below to nominate all athletes, coaches, administrators, or community members who you feel should be considered for this honor! All nominations need to be submitted and received to the athletic office by Friday, July 1st, 2022. You may nominate using the google form listed below, or by linked PDF, Word which can be emailed to jesse_a_irvin@mcpsmd.org or mailed to the school directly Seneca Valley HS 19401 Crystal Rock Drive, Germantown MD, 20874. (Note that mail must be received by July 1st, 2022)
It is important that when you make a nomination, that you are as thorough and detailed as possible, in order for the board to make an informed decision when choosing the Inductees.
We look forward to reading all nominations!
