Passport to Sisterhood

Hello Sisters!

As I look out my window at the many, many inches of snow in the yard and long for spring, I am warmed by the idea of the great sisters I have met through the Twin Cities ZTA alumnae chapter. I first moved to the Twin Cities in 2003, a few years out of college, and did not really know anyone except a few co-workers. I was so lucky to find there was a local ZTA chapter and that they were active & fun! I remember my first event and how much I felt like I had known all you wonderful women my entire life. There is a magic about ZTA and our sisterhood that spans time and space. That is why our theme this year, passport to sisterhood, truly speaks to me. I welcome all of you to join us for Zeta Day on April 28th to meet these wonderful sisters I speak of and to find your 'passport to sisterhood'!

Events Recap

One of the best things about our Twin Cities alumnae chapter is the diversity of events! Please find a quick recap of the most recent events below:

Holiday cookie decorating: Alex and her husband (a sous chef) hosted the chapter at their home for a cookie decorating class in December. Ambiance, cookies + all decorative toppings were provided by our great hosts and it was such a blast!! Everyone left with new cookie decorating skills and new friends.

Guthrie Theater behind-the-scenes tour: Thanks to our sister, Robin Ritter, many Zetas and their family members were able to revisit a favorite event from a few years back! We got a truly behind-the-scenes tour of both theaters, prop room, set creation, wardrobe and even the rehearsal area! The tour was followed by a yummy lunch at Sea Change on site.

International badge day: Celebrated by sorority alumnae across the Twin Cities at Lucky 13 through the TC Panhellenic Association. Despite the snow storm, many came out to celebrate international sisterhood!

Who are the Twin Cities Alumnae?

Since 1980, our chapter has been dedicated to serving ZTA alumnae of the Twin Cities. We are a group of talented women joined by the common bonds of sisterhood. From recent college graduates and career women to new moms and empty nesters, our membership runs the gamut. Despite the diversity of our group, the bond of ZTA unites us. Whether it’s singing a traditional fraternity song at our Founders’ Day celebration or giggling as we share fun collegiate memories, Zeta remains in our hearts forever. We work hard to embrace the ZTA spirit through events and activities that focus on community service, fundraising and socializing. Whether you look forward to attending every event of the year or only have the time to catch up with us at Zeta Day, there’s a place for you in our alumnae chapter.
