2nd Grade Gifted Testing 11/30-12/2
The 2nd grade blanket gifted test is quickly approaching. Anasazi will be testing November 30th – December 2nd, 2021. The gifted test consists of three batteries (verbal, non-verbal, and quantitative). Students will complete one battery test per day. The tests will take about 45 minutes in total, and students will test in their homeroom classes with their homeroom teacher. Please reach out to homeroom teacher or Mrs. Martin with any questions.

In need of a crossing guard
We are looking to hire a crossing guard. This is a two hour position, one hour in the morning and one hour at dismissal. Please call the office for more information.
Calling all 3rd to 5th grade Anasazi girls!
Girls on the Run (GOTR) is coming to Anasazi this February through April!
Please register during November! Registration is $200 with scholarships available. At the end of the program, girls will run a 5k race with a Running Buddy. If you are unable to be your child's Running Buddy, GOTR will connect them to a Sparkle Runner that will support them during the race.

Attendance
A reminder that if your child will not be at school for the day, please call the attendance line 480-484-7360.
Important Reminders:
- Masks from home: Please send your child to school with a mask every day.
- COVID testing: If you are waiting for results of a COVID test just taken due to a close contact situation or illness that has not been reported, please do not send your child to school until you have received your negative results.
Vaccination records: As your children receive their COVID vaccines, please send a copy/screenshot of the record to Nurse Renee at rtosto@susd.org. It is important to have these on file for quarantine decision purposes. Once fully vaccinated for COVID, your child would not be put in quarantine in the event of exposure to a COVID positive individual.
Reminders from Nurse Renee
Please keep your child home if he or she has any of the COVID-like symptoms listed below, even if your child only has one of them and you attribute it to a minor cold or allergies. Discuss with Nurse Renee prior to sending your child to school:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
