Weather Presentations
Today we joined with Ms. Iverson's class to watch the presentations. We're looking forward to one final presentation from our class next week as well as all the presentations from Ms. I's class. Be sure to ask your child about the work they've done this week. They should be able to log in to their Google Drive and share their work with you. It will blow you away!
Our State House Field Trip is Monday!
We hope to leave WES shortly before 9:30. Students will have an opportunity for a quick snack before entering the State House. The WES Chorus will perform at 10:30. At 11:00 we will take a tour of the State House. We will have lunch at 12:00 and then will board the bus to return to school.
Lunch & Snacks
We are providing snacks for all students. Representative Teresa Tanzi has arranged for pizza to be delivered to the State House for our lunch. Bottles of water will also be available.
Dress
Mrs. Pierce has asked that the students wear festive holiday attire.
Bags/Personal Belongings
Since lunch & recess will be provided, students need only bring a small bag if they would like to bring some activities for the bus ride. Technology is not permitted on the ride to and from Providence. All personal belongings will remain on the bus during our time in the State House.
Chaperones
All students attending the trip must ride the bus with us. Due to limited bus space, chaperones will need to provide their own rides to the State House. You can choose to come to the school in the morning and follow us up or to simply meet us at the State House.

The Great Quest
On Thursday, Mrs. Beth Berry from Gear Productions visited our class to tell us the story of The Great Quest. Mrs. Berry also described the 11 types of roles from which students may choose. They are asked to identify their first two (or three) choices on the registration forms that went home yesterday. Please indicate the times that your child is NOT available for rehearsal by crossing out the times. There are also plenty of ways for families to be involved. Mrs. Berry has explained those on the letter attached to the registration forms.
Registration forms are due to the school by Thursday, December 19th. Mrs. Berry will be coordinating scenes, roles, and rehearsal times over vacation. Rehearsal schedules will go home upon our return to school on Thursday, January 2nd.
