GENEALOGY WORKSHOP FOR BEGINNERS

This is a four-part workshop that will meet monthly from 1:00 – 3:30 pm starting Wednesday, November 18. The workshop will be lead by Kim Anderson, and will cover the basic skills needed to get you started on your way. The first two sessions will cover: how to do an interview; basic questions - what to ask and how to ask them, sources of information, and how to fill out a family spreadsheet. Homework assigned in between the monthly meetings will give participants time to fill in the blanks, find the necessary resources, and conduct interviews with family members.
