Dr. Hector P. Garcia Middle School Newsletter
May 22-26, 2017
This week we welcomed our future Gladiators to campus. All our incoming 6th graders visited the campus and participated in a scavenger hunt to ease the transition to middle school. I was able to meet and speak to all the incoming parents as well. Many of our new parents signed up to receive the campus Remind messages. We will begin communicating information about the 17-18 school year, so it's important to be connected!
Students are able to pick up their yearbooks Monday, May 22 in the gym from 3:40-6:00 pm. We are in need of volunteers to help set up and pass out yearbooks. If you are able to assist, please contact chuck.barksdale@nisd.net or show up on Monday!
Our annual awards ceremony will be held Wednesday, May 31st during the school day. Students receiving an award were given an invitation this week.
