New Mark Stingray Head Coach Hannah Palmeter
I started swimming Club Swim at 7 years old and was part of several different teams around the KC area. From the age of 10, I was competing in Zones every year until I qualified for Sectionals at 14 and have represented Missouri Valley each year since.
Swimming has been my life and I love the sport for everything it has taught me. I couldn't be happier to be coaching for New Mark where I've grown up and where swimming became so important to me! It's a great opportunity for me to give back to our upcoming Stingrays

I have been swimming my whole life thanks to my older brothers! I started with the Stingrays as a rookie at age five and continued through high school. I also swam with the Tsunami Swim Team since I was six years old and for Liberty North High School where I medaled in the 100 backstroke and medley relay my senior year.
I was also involved in Boy Scouts earning my Eagle Scout award.
I'm currently studying at the University of Missouri-Columbia and am majoring in Chemical Engineering.
I am looking forward to coaching the stingrays this summer!
New Mark Stingray 2019 Board
Kris Roberts President
My name is Kris Roberts and I am President of the New Mark Swim team for the 2019 season.
All three of my sons started on this team at age 5 in the Rookie program. My oldest son Jack attends the University of Arkansas is now an assistant coach the team in his second season. My son Sam will be a senior next year and my son Joe will be a junior. Sam and Joe are currently swimmers with Staley high school. Swim is a big deal in our household.
I have been on the New Mark swim board in some capacity for the last ten years. This is my first time being President. I also serve as the computer chair for our Northland Conference meet at the end of the season. I have served as a meet director several times for my boy’s club team and am a certified AO3 official. I work at Oak Park High School as the A+ coordinator and have been a Clay County CASA volunteer for the last 23 years.
I love being a part of this summer swim family. My sons and I have met some of our very best friends on this team. I am very excited to meet our new families. I am always available to chat if you need anything. One thing I always want to be is approachable if you need something.

Stacy Williamson-Officials Rep
My name Stacy Williamson and I am the mom of two girls here at New Mark. I swam on New Mark Stingrays from the time I was 5 years old until I graduated from high school at 18. My memories with Stingrays are some of my most cherished childhood memories. I am a Medicine and Healthcare Instructor for the Northland CAPS program and work in EMS as my side hustle. I teach dual-credit medicine classes for UMKC and NWMSU. I am the co-head coach of the NKCSD Middle School Swim Team and I am an age group coach for a year-round club, Northland United Swim Team. As well as being certified as a MSHSAA swim coach and a USA Swimming coach, I have served USA Swimming as an official for the last eight years. In this time I have served New Mark and Club North as a team official and I have worked the USA Swim Sectionals deck as an assigned official for the last two years achieving National Certification as an official. I’m excited to be serving the Stingrays in a new role this year and look forward to a fabulous season.
Bridget Schroeder-Treasurer
My name is Bridget Schroeder and I am Treasurer of the New Mark Swim team for the 2019 season.
This is my second season as the Treasurer for the team. My oldest daughter has been swimming competitively for 4 years, however last year was her first year on the New Mark team. We both enjoyed our “rookie” summer swim season and met several great families. I also have two boys who play competitive baseball so if I am not at the pool you can usually find me at a baseball game with the rest of my family during the spring and summer.
I work in the Finance department at Lockton Companies as my day job. I am excited for the upcoming season and enjoy the opportunity to volunteer with the team.

Hello, I am one of your two Volunteer Coordinators. I am also a mom to two Stingray swimmers, 11 and 14 year old girls. This will be my fourth year on the board and my sixth year with the team. I was a little fish as a child and a competitive swimmer in high school. When I am not at the pool, I am usually at school. I have been a special education teacher at Fox Hill Elementary School for 20 years. I grew up in Kansas and attended The University of Kansas – Rock Chalk Jayhawk!
Laura Graybill
I’ve been a part of the Stingray family since 2014, when Reagan (11) was a Rookie. Kinley (9) started swimming soon after. I work as a substitute teacher for NKCSD and have a sewing business from my home. Swimming is one of my most favorite things. I’ve been a lifeguard, swimming instructor and coach and am currently enjoying being a swim mom.

Sandra Segers
I’m Sandra Segers and I am the owner of The Frosted Swirl Bake Shop. I get to make custom decorated sugar cookies for some pretty amazing clients. I’m the president of our HOA and I completely believe that in volunteering you get out of your community what you put into it.
I’m a wife, mom, small business owner and I love watching my girl swim.
Tara Barnett
Tara is the 2nd of your two Volunteer Coordinators.
She has five children - 27, 23, 13, 10, and 10, a daughter-in-law, a granddaughter - Kennedy who will be 2 in June, a 4 year old Husky, and 2 cats. Her three youngest kiddos - Hunter, Mckenzie, and Camryn are Stingray Swimmers, and Kennedy is taking lessons at Gladstone and will hopefully be a future Stingray. Tara works full time at Children’s Mercy as an Executive Secretary for the VP of Research Administration, and in addition to volunteering with New Mark Stingrays, she also volunteers with Baby Grace Ministries. In her spare time, she enjoys date nights with her hubby, going out with friends, game night with her family, crafting, painting, decorating, baking, and zoning out on her phone playing mindless games.
