Dear parents and caregivers,

This week was certainly a busy one for students! Our Year Four to Six students were treated to a sneak preview of the Mater Dei College production ‘Back to the 80’s’ on Wednesday. The feedback from students was that the production was great, and they all loved the songs!! A number of our staff went on opening night and thoroughly enjoyed it as well, so I encourage you to book a ticket and treat yourself to a night out!

Today our Year One and Two students enjoyed a wonderful excursion to Cockman House and Wanneroo Museum learning all about our local history. Thank you to the Miss Baxter, Mrs Wall, Mrs Tie and Mrs Burgess for organising a great experience for our students. Also, to our parent volunteers, thank you for assisting on the day!

A reminder to everyone that at St Elizabeth’s we promote a healthy lifestyle through our ‘Crunch and Sip’ routine every morning. This includes bringing a small container of fruit or vegetables to ‘munch’ on and water only in our water bottles.

I have noticed that a number of girls are wearing large hair claws to school instead of the correct hair accessories. These are not appropriate for school, and I ask that you ensure that your child is wearing the correct hair accessories.

If you have not yet done so, I strongly encourage you to sign up for our Parent Workshop ‘Child Well-being and Resilience’ on Wednesday night. Our presenter, Ben Saulsman is great and a wealth of knowledge.

Finally, congratulations to Mrs Tanika Farmer and her husband Kurt who have welcomed a new addition, Maeve Estelle, to their family. We send them all our love and best wishes!

Have a lovely weekend!

God bless

Mother's Day Coffee and Scrolls

The P&F are hosting a Mother's Day morning treat from 8 am on Thursday 11 May at school. Our regular coffee van will be onsite plus we will be distributing Cinnayum scrolls again - YUM! The coffee and scrolls have been kindly sponsored by Kirrily Macri at Harcourts Alliance Joondalup. Following this the Year 2 Class will be hosting a 'Mother's Day Assembly' for all our mums!

Huge thanks to Melissa Wilson for her efforts in securing sponsorship for the breakfast and raffle prizes. This ensures we aren't spending too much of our funds on fundraising events.

Special thanks to former P&F President, Belinda Stewart, for once again securing an excellent discount on the Cinnayum scrolls.

RSVP - Make sure you register your attendance by Monday 8th May so we can confirm catering numbers. Note - the treats are for MUMS ONLY!
