Family Literacy Night
In conjunction with READ ACROSS AMERICA WEEK, West End is hosting a Family Literacy Night. Free food! Student Performances! Literacy-based games and activities! Photo booth! Gift bags! Drawing for $100 Parnassus Gift Card!
Tuesday, February 27th, 5:30 - 8:30. Please encourage your students to attend with their families.

Pencil Box Moving "Sale"
The PENCIL Box is moving locations, and we want to have a last big day to give away all the items that have gotten tucked in the corners that are not coming with us to the new location. This is for all MNPS educators, regardless if you have visited the Box or not this semester. There will be no limits on the items we are giving away, as everything must go. We look forward to seeing you on March 3rd.
When: Saturday March 3rd, 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM (No one will be admitted prior to noon.)
Where: LP PENCIL Box, 1300 56th Ave N., Nashville, TN, 37209
This will not be like a regular shop, this is to give away items that we will not be taking with us. Many items like pencils, crayons, markers will NOT be available for this shop.
Rules for the giveaway:
-No one will be admitted prior to noon.
-You must be able to haul away whatever you take to your vehicle.
-You must fill out a sheet with all the items you have taken for our records.
-Bring Boxes and Bags as we will not have those available for you. (Carts will be available for use as long as we have enough).
-Items taken must be for use in your school for the benefit of MNPS students.
