Words of Wisdom

"Although the world is very full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it."

~ Helen Keller

Helen Keller knew a bit about suffering, making this statement all the more poignant. She exemplifies her words because she overcame great suffering.

Most of us suffer in some way, big or small, each day. We suffer with worry or stress. We suffer with negative interactions with others, or with challenging tasks. Suffering is simply part of life. No one escapes it completely. But here's the good news: When we overcome our sufferings and allow them to mold us into what we are intended to become, our suffering is not wasted.

It is useful, purposeful, and ultimately of great value.
