Matching Funds Available for Annual Fund Appeal!
Our Annual Fund Appeal has raised almost $60,000 with a goal of hitting $100,000. We have secured matching funds up to $25,000. So any donation will be matched dollar for dollar through December! We have had 26% of school families participate so far! Thank you so much for your support of this important appeal.

Auction/Crab Feed
The Crab Feed/Auction is right around the corner! This is a very important fundraiser for our school. Each family has a commitment to provide a $100 item. This may include a payment to the office in the form of cash or check, gift cards to local restaurants, businesses, sporting events, or places of interest. Families may also provide vouchers for goods and services such as catering, lawn maintenance, baked goods - etc.
Another way to get donations is to solicit local businesses. Because we are a 501c3, businesses can write off these donations. If you want to ask your grocery store, hair salon, or local restaurants we have procurement forms in the office. Check-in with Berenice if you would like to do this option.
New this year; you can enroll in Amazon Smile and purchase items that will be used to make up auction gift baskets!
Go to smile.amazon.com and sign in with your existing Amazon account, or create one.
Enter Academia Juan Diego as the charitable organization you wish to support. From the upper right corner, select the “Lists” drop-down menu; scroll down to and select “Find List or Registry”
Type smckinney@hrrsjda.org into the search box and press “Search”
There are several items at different price points and can be sent directly to the school at: 504 S 30th St. Tacoma, 98402.
Complete your purchase and send a copy of the receipt to smckinney@hrrsjda.org.
The deadline for turning in auction items is Friday, January 6th. If an item is not received by this deadline, your family will be charged $150 on your invoice. If you would like to assist on the committee please contact: smckiney@hrrsjda.org.
