Students of the Month
Drew was nominated by Mr. Stephen Blenderman for his character, respect, and citizenship. Mr. Blenderman stated that during the bus ride home from the boys' soccer semi-final game where spirits were relatively low, Drew found a wrinkled $100.00 bill on the floor. Drew approached Mr. Blenderman and said he found it and wanted to give it back to the person who lost it. Drew did what he would have wanted someone else to do for him in this situation. Mr. Blenderman is recognizing Drew for his incredible honesty, displaying great character and respect for his classmates. He also said that he couldn't have been more proud to say that Drew was a model student for DHS!
Nygel Well was nominated by Mrs. Lena Galati for his character, respect, leadership responsibility, school spirit and citizenship! Nygel is the Good Will Ambassador of DHS. He can be found in the main lobby every single morning greeting students, teachers, and staff as they arrive. His positivity has had a tremendous impact on the climate, and his uplifting spirit starts everyone's day off in a wonderful way.
Congratulations and thank you Drew and Nygel for a job well done!
