Keystone Kids Digital Book Report Challenge - Registration: Oct. 10 to Nov. 30, 2016
The challenge is for students in grades 5 through 8 to integrate their reading, writing and 21st Century literacy skills into an interactive and engaging project! Possible tools to assist with creating the digital book report include Movie Maker, iMovie, Garage Band and Photo Story. Registration runs from October 10 to November 30. Videos can be uploaded from December 1 to January 6, and on January 10 voting begins. Voting ends on February 10 and during the week of February 27th, the winners will be announced. ACM Code Jam 2016 - November 16, 2016
Computer Programming Contest for all students in grades 9-12 from districts represented by Colonial and Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Units. Teams of 4 will be given a certain number of problems to solve and the team that correctly completes the most problems in the shortest amount of time will win the competition. The competition will be held at CLIU 21, 4210 Independence Drive, Schnecksville, PA 18078 on November 16th with a snow date of November 21st at IU21. www.ciu20.org/codejam

The computer fair is an annual event that highlights high school and middle school students’ application skills and computer knowledge. Students are able to unleash their creativity, learn how to convey information more dynamically, and enhance the learning process. The winner of each category at the IU regional event will go on to the state competition in May. The regional event will be on March 15, 2017 at Northampton Community College, Bethlehem, PA. www.ciu20.org/computerfair

Regional 24 Challenge® Math Tournament - May 11 & 12, 2017
CIU 20, in conjunction with Suntex International, Inc., the creators of the 24® game and First In Math® Online Program, is sponsoring a two-day Regional 24 Challenge® Math Tournament for 4-8th grade students! This tournament will be held at CIU 20, 6 Danforth Drive, Easton, PA 18045 on May 11, 2017 for Grades 4-5 and on May 12, 2017 for Grades 6-8. www.ciu20.org/math24
