Our new e-books offer a wide variety of titles for all ages, interests and reading levels, with a special focus on non-fiction literature which supports our new reading program. Some have a read-aloud audio component, and others offer highlighting and note-taking options. For detailed instructions, please visit the Gayman Library webpage, found on the Gayman Elementary School website under the "Our School" tab, and click on the "E-Books" link, found in the menu on the left. Gayman Gala
Congratulations to Mrs. Klebba's class for earning invitations to January's Gayman Gala. The students and Mrs. Klebba enjoyed a delicious meal and a wonderful fine dining atmosphere.
Way to go Mrs. Klebba's class for being the first class ever to earn the maximum number of points (3 per day) every day in December. You had a PERFECT month!
Stop Cyberbullying
Does your child have access to a cellphone, computer, notebook, tablet, ipad, xbox, or any device with internet capability? Are you aware of the many ways in which your child is able to send and receive messages through the “world-wide web”? How familiar are you with the many social media sites? Instances of inappropriate cyber-communication and cyberbullying are growing at an alarming rate. Research shows that the BEST protection a child has against this type of damaging contact is a well-informed parent.
Gayman parents are invited to attend the NOVA Cyberbullying Program being held at Cold Spring Elementary School Library on Thursday, February 6 at 7:00 PM . PLEASE don’t miss the opportunity to attend this valuable and timely program presented by the knowledgeable staff from the Network of Victim Assistance (NOVA).

Thank You Gayman!!!
The Gayman community received this letter from Shane Burroughs and Laura Kruger of the Homeless Children's Initiative. Thanks to everyone for supporting PJs For a Cause Day!
On behalf of the Homeless Children’s Initiative, I hope that you and your families enjoyed a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!!
I would like to thank each of you for your kindness and generous gifts to homeless children, youth and their families in Bucks County this holiday season! We distributed the gift cards as we discovered unmet needs. The appreciation that was expressed was very touching! It was evident to us that there were several families that were very likely not going to be able to purchase anything at all for their children this Christmas but the gift cards that you all provided gave these parents the ability to make Christmas brighter and happier for their children!!!!! Your gifts to these families gave them the opportunity to set the challenges and frustrations of homelessness aside for a while in order to eat some good food, play with some new toys and to feel a sense of normalcy that they don’t often get to enjoy.
Thank you all SO VERY MUCH for thinking of others this holiday season!!!!!!
I hope that you all experience a joyous and happy 2014!!!!!!
With deepest gratitude,
Shane Burroughs & Laura Kruger
Pint-Size Hero Program
Gayman Elementary is partnering with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive on Friday, January 24th from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the cafeteria. Next week students will attend an assembly entitled "Pint-Size Hero" program. The program is designed to teach elementary students facts about blood donation while hosting a blood drive as a school-wide community service project. While recognizing elementary students are too young to donate blood, they will be encouraged to invite eligible blood donors to donate on their behalf.
If you would like to support the American Red Cross by donating blood please click here.
