Unit Objectives:

GM.A.1 Verify experimentally the congruency properties of rigid transformations.

GM.A.5 Use informal arguments to establish facts about the angle sum and exterior angle of triangles and about the angles created when parallel lines are cut by a transversal.

GM.A.4a Understand that two-dimensional figures are similar if a series of transformations (rotations, reflections, translations and dilations) can be
performed to map the pre-image to the image.

EEI.B.6: Apply concepts of slope and y-intercept to graphs, equation, and proportional relationships.

Learning for the Week

This week students will be working on analyzing all of their scores for each Essential Learning Outcome (ELO) and work towards improving their scores.

This Week in History:

This week we spent time examining court cases in which the Supreme Court used its power of judicial review. We will wrap up the unit and test early next week.
