Senior Immunizations
If you have received communication from the nurse about missing required vaccinations for senior year and you have questions, please contact school nurse Melanie Carrel at (317) 852-2258 x1507 or by email at mcarrel@brownsburg.k12.in.us. If we do not receive an updated immunization record or proper documentation for your student by the end of the school day on Friday, August 30th, your child will be excluded from school and not allowed to return until our records are updated.
If you have an upcoming appointment scheduled for your child, please notify the school nurse so that documentation can be made accordingly.

SAT and ACT Information
Please visit https://www.smore.com/ne9v3-college-testing-information for information on the SAT and ACT.
It is very important for seniors to log-in to their SAT and/or ACT accounts and have their test scores sent to the colleges on their list. Most colleges require test scores to be sent from the testing agency and will not accept them from the high school transcript. Even if seniors think they had them sent when first registering for the test(s), we strongly recommend they log in to their accounts to be sure (at www.act.org and www.sat.org ). Do this now as there is processing time for them to be received by the college.
Dress Code Expectations
Clothing should be so constructed and worn in a manner that is not unduly revealing. Tops that may NOT be worn include tank tops, muscle shirts, tube tops, halter tops, backless shirts, tops with spaghetti straps, sheer or fishnet shirts, and cut-offs or other tops which show midriff. Plunging neck lines and excessive exposure is not acceptable. Our gauge for necklines will be 4"; the length of four fingers. All shorts, skirts, and pants should not be unduly revealing, using the fingertip rule as a guide.
Students who are in violation of our BHS dress code will be sent to the team office to put on school assigned attire or call a parent/guardian to bring them a change of clothes.
Hats, sweatband, bandanas are not to be worn in the building. Students who wear hooded sweatshirts are not permitted to wear the hoods. Any new "fads" in clothing or anything specifically covered in the above guidelines, which is considered inappropriate dress shall be dealt with at the discretion of an administrator/designee.
