March is here, where does the time go? We are incredibly proud of the many examples of student achievement that have happened since last month’s newsletter! One of our favorite things to do as an administration at the high school is getting into classrooms and seeing “what’s happening.” Of course, there are always formal observations, but I’m talking about just walking in and spending some time or even participating in a class. There are so many great things happening! I’ve watched our building trades students build a set for the play, our students in architecture design vacation homes, students intelligently discuss Hawthorne and Shakespeare, and students in science performing amazing experiments, just to name a few! Learning is alive, and your kid's are curious, that’s a great thing!

Our students did just as well away from the classroom with DECA just returning from their state competitions, receiving gold classification for their school-based enterprise, mock trial winning cases, and making the final 4 in their competition, the thespians put on an amazing play with The Little Shop of Horrors, and so much more! As we move into spring, there is so much more on the horizon with spring sports starting, Mr. Delsea, the senior trip, and the JROTC Military Ball. Let’s keep it rolling as we move into spring!

The success of the high school play was a true testament to hard work and dedication. Congratulations to all involved! An exceptional performance made possible by Mrs. Dougherty's guidance and leadership, as well as every student’s creative contributions – from making costumes that shone on stage, applying stunning makeup artistry, actors & musicians, and designing an impressive set - this show will be remembered for years. You should be incredibly proud of yourself for such a great job. Well done!

If your student's Chromebook is running slow or has any issues feel free to stop by the Central Office during Delsea One to pick up a loaner. We do not give out loaner Chromebooks if you forgot yours at home. Please remember to bring your Chromebook fully charged to school everyday.

Please remind your students: They MUST read their Delsea email daily. Teachers will communicate with them using email and this is the way the kids will receive the daily announcements.

What is OnCourse Connect? OnCourse is a way for each parent or guardian to check their child's grades throughout the marking period on-line. You can check any time at your convenience. OnCourse can be accessed easily via our Delsea Regional School District website under the "Student & Parents" heading. Simply click on "Students & Parents" and then on the left hand side click on "OnCourse Connect". You can also access OnCourse Connect by going directly to:

www.oncourseconnect.com. Whichever way you choose, you will be asked to provide a username and password.

Each child and Parent/Guardian are assigned specific usernames and passwords. Students can use their log-in information to check their grades, teacher's comments, and attendance. Parents/Guardians can use their log-in information to see all of their children’s grades, teacher’s comments, attendance, etc. (there is no need to log into separate accounts, you can log into your account and toggle between your children).

Once you have logged in, you can click on the down arrow next to your child’s name, and if you have another child or children at the school, you will see their name(s) and picture(s) to click on and toggle between your children’s profile.

Delsea Regional School no longer has the ability to pull up your password information. If you should forget your password, please use the "forgot my password" option on the OnCourse Connect login page. OnCourse will then email you with directions on how to reset your password.
