DEVELOPING ASSESSMENT-CAPABLE VISIBLE LEARNERS
This strand is offered during session 1 only
This strand provides the opportunity for participants to understand what it means to develop assessment-capable learners in a student-centered classroom. This session will provide an introduction to Hattie's research in visible learning, and lay the foundation to dive into what it means to be a learner.

STUDENT-CENTERED COACHING FOR BEGINNERS
This strand is offered during session 1 only
In this session, we will continue our learning in the Student-Centered Coaching Model by introducing the stages of a Student-Centered Coaching Cycle and examining the process for setting the goals of a coaching cycle.

EDUPHORIA! BUILDING DEPTH OF UNDERSTANDING

This session will focus on learning how to create a quick check in Eduphoria using the item banks for non-interactive and interactive questions. Come learn how to build a test, as I guide you step by step. This session will allow time for practice, so please ensure you can log in to your Eduphoria account.

CLOSING THE GAP WITH CLOSE READING

In this session you will learn how to implement and integrate Close Reading in the K-12 classroom through this transdisciplinary approach that engages readers through choosing complex text and questioning in an interactive way.
