Principal's News....
'Peanuts' was first published in 1950 and ran for nearly 50 years, in over 2600 newspapers across 75 countries and 21 languages! Charles Schultz, the author of 'Peanuts'. Charles Schultz was raised a Lutheran in a small congregation in Minneapolis. On learning this in the article that I read I couldn't help but reflect on the messages of hope, faith, love and acceptance that Schultz shared with the millions of Peanuts followers.
In a time when we are facing long days and periods of uncertainty, how blessed we are to know we have the gift of love and hope through Him. We can share His love with those around us in so many ways, a kind gesture, a thoughtful remark, a prayer. These cartoons bought a smile to my face and I hope they too can give you a smile and reminder of the hope, joy, love and peace that we have.

Building Works Update - Canteen
In the next stage of our exciting building program we are this week handing over the courtyard to our Builders to begin the works on the new and updated Sails Courtyard design. The plan is to complete as much of this work in the school holiday period as possible to limit the disruption for all.
To ensure the safety of all, there will be some changes to our Canteen arrangements for students:
- Students will need to enter the Canteen via Sunset carpark entry only.
- For the last week of term 3 the canteen will only prepare food that is ordered . There will be no hot selection available for over the counter sales.
- Orders will be collected via the internal shutter door.
- In Term 4 lunch orders will continue to be collected from the internal shutter door. The daily bain marie service will recommence.
Students will be reminded of these access points at school and the areas will be fenced and secured appropriately.
We are so excited to see the building progress coming along and cannot wait to see the finished product!
We are thinking of you.....
