Tardies and Tardy Policy

On September 7th, we started our tardy policy for the rest of the school year.

Once class starts, teachers will not allow students to enter without a green tardy slip.

  • 5 tardies is a 2 hour after school detention
  • 10 tardies is a one day suspension
  • 15 tardies is a second suspension with a mandatory parent conference in order to return.

Being on time takes planning and commitment and is an essential part of classroom success. We want to partner with you so please contact us if there are extenuating circumstances we need to be aware of.

Student Academic Supports

Writing Lab

The writing lab is now open during all three lunches. The writing lab serves as a workshop that specializes in improving student’s written assignments. Our key goal is to provide students with the opportunity and space to improve their writing capabilities. Students will receive guidance from peer tutors, as well as teachers regarding their assessments, as well as improve assignments that they intend to resubmit. Students assigned to the writing lab or students who want writing assistance must come prepared with the materials and the assignments they want assistance on.
