On Saturday, April 21st, the Symphonic Winds, attended the UIL Concert & Sight Reading Evaluation. We are pleased to announce that they came home with a Sweepstakes Trophy, meaning they earned first division ratings in both sections of the contest. Great job Sabercats!
ORCHESTRA UIL RESULTS
On Friday, April 20th, the Chamber Orchestra competed in the UIL Concert and Sight Reading Competition. They had an incredible performance and received unanimous superior ratings from all judges in both the concert and sight reading portions. The Chamber Orchestra earned the coveted Sweepstakes Trophy! Congratulations!!!
SNACKS IN CLASS
Only students who have C lunch are allowed a dry, individual sized snack to be consumed during 5th period. The snack should not be messy, so as residue would not be transferred onto books, papers, etc. Any remaining part of the snack should be thrown away in the waste basket in the classroom, not on the floors in the classroom or hallways. In addition, we need to be diligent about not having students leave food in their lockers overnight. It is our first defense in fighting pests and rodents.
All other snacks and foods should be consumed in the cafeteria.
Thank you for your help with this matter.
