Wonderful First Week !
Thank you to each of you for making the first week of the 2017-2018 school year wonderful! The week started with our Dad's Club greeting students in the car line and with a high five tunnel. Many family members joined us in the cafeteria for a brief introduction to the school year. Click here to view the presentation. PTA provided each of our Texans with solar eclipse glasses allowing our staff and students to take part in the historic event. That was all on day one! The rest of the week was as exciting as we were getting to know our Texans, learning about the expectations for the year, and jumping into learning goals! See below for some pictures highlighting week one!
Thank you to each of you for your patience during drop-off and pick-up! We appreciate you displaying your car sign during pick-up. Thank you for not using your cell phones while in car line!
We look forward to a wonderful week two!

Bransford PTA wins the Head Start Award!
We are proud to announce that the Bransford PTA has won the Head Start Award through the Texas PTA! This means we have already achieved 75% of our membership goal! Our goal is one PTA membership for every single student in our school. If you have not joined us yet, please go to joinpta.org, select Grapevine Colleyville ISD, and then select Bransford. Joining PTA does not obligate you to volunteer. It is a tremendous way to support the needs of our students and teachers. Thank you to our PTA members!
Volunteer Opportunities
Would you like to volunteer at Bransford this year? We have many volunteer opportunities at all levels of involvement. Please complete this form if you are interested!
Volunteer Background Check
In order to volunteer at BES this year in classrooms, during school-wide event, or as a field trip chaperone, please review the new volunteer handbook and complete the required background check. Thank you for understanding that this process must be repeated each school year. Now is a good time to complete this process and encourage all family members who might want to volunteer to complete it, too. For the protection of students and staff, all volunteer applicants must read the Volunteer Handbook and complete the online form authorizing the district to obtain a criminal history background check.

In accordance with program guidelines, the Free and Reduced application will be available online as part of skyward registration. When registering for the 2017-2018 school year, parents or guardians should complete the Free and Reduced application. The application may also be filled out anytime electronically at www.schoollunchapp.com. For those parents that still would like to complete a paper application, your campus will receive a limited number of paper applications for free and reduced meal benefits the week of August 7th.
