Hornet Yearbook and the COVID-19 Pandemic
This is a moment none have experienced. With the pace of near hourly change, comes a sense of uncertainty and with that, anxiety. What we want to bring into the discussion is the reality of the historical moment we are watching live. We encourage you to start photographing these moments and collecting your conversations.
Our 2020 yearbook will be unique to say the least! Let’s create an annual that reaches to the highest Muenster Hornet Traditions and something to look back on how we as a Hornet family excelled and prospered during this historic time.
We are planning a COVID-19 Divider in our 2020 Yearbook. Here are some activities we would like to include from you:
COVID-19 News and Reflection:
Images of what students did during school closure:
Popular activities
Most popular board games
Images of family time
Stories of how you stayed connected to fellow students and staff
Images of homeschooling
How your school conducted tests
How many students pulled out old photos, childhood games, etc.
How many kilometers you walked to stay active?
Your dog/cat’s reaction to all the new attention?
How your community came together to help one another during the crisis (“Acts of Kindness” provided groceries to elderly neighbor, baked, created FaceTime games, regular telephone calls to grandparents)
Please send you photos along with a short description of what is going on and who is in each photo as an email attachment to:
Please do not send actual printed photos and material as they may be quarantined.
