Romeo and Juliet
By Logan Pratt
Although Friar Laurence knew that Romeo and Juliet were in love, he was too involved in their problems which ended up being the reason for their deaths. If Friar Laurence wouldn't have gotten involved than their deaths might of not came so soon. Friar Laurence encouraged Romeo and Juliet to be together knowing that they shouldn’t be. When Romeo asks him to marry them, Friar agrees saying, “ill thy assist be; For this alliance may so happy prove To Turn your households` rancor to pure love” (2.3.98-100).Friar Laurence is to be blamed because he is the one that helped with the whole relationship thing.
