The first-semester final exams are scheduled from December 19 through December 22. The final exam schedule will be similar to the spring semester (three final exam periods on days one and two, with two final exam periods and a make-up period on day three). Four days have been scheduled to accommodate potential winter weather issues. The exact schedule for final exams will be confirmed on December 15. See schedule below.

Most classes will have a concluding experience to end the semester such as portfolios, projects, end of unit exams, traditional final exams, AP practice exams, or performance assessments, expect for Physical Education classes. By 11/28/2022 Teachers will have communicated the course specifics to students. In order to give a more flexible format for students and teachers, each period will meet once for 90 minutes during the FINAL DAYS in order to wrap up the year in a format that is appropriate for that class.

November is federally recognized as National Native American Heritage Month (NNAHM). During this month, American Indian and Alaskan Natives are honored and celebrated for their rich and varied cultures, traditions, history, and societal contributions. NNAHM gives us an opportunity to become more educated about Native Americans, increase our knowledge of unique challenges faced by this population, and better understand how historical trauma—such as colonization and genocide—has impacted Native peoples.

Did you know that the BHS PTO funds many programs that benefit both students and staff each year? Without fundraisers, the PTO relies on your dues to fund these programs each year. Your annual dues provide the funds needed to pay for events and programs like:

  • -College Night to bring in all the college reps to help students learn more about their options
  • -Testing support for students with extended time on standardized tests
  • -Freshman Orientation
  • -Donation to the nurse's office to purchase items they need outside their budget
  • -Student Health Fair
  • -Staff grants for materials and programs teachers run that are the icing on the cake for students
  • -Decision Day for Seniors
  • -Staff hospitality

This page serves as a place where individuals can report school threats, bullying and concerns about a person's well-being. It is always best to talk directly to an adult, however since students and parents are not always comfortable doing so, this is another tool that can be used to alert district administrators about an issue. In the case of an emergency, call 911.
