The Creek Connector
July 27 Edition - Summer Update
Canvas for Families
Canvas will be the learning platform that all students will be engaged in for the new school year. Each Canvas course will be set up similarly for each content. Teachers will plan together to personalize lessons and support for students. Students certainly have access, and so do parents. Below are resources that will help you as parents/guardians to monitor and support your child's learning in Canvas. As parents/guardians, we have a responsibility and accountability during remote learning to ensure student engagement and student success. The tools below will equip you with the resources that you need to do so successfully. We encourage a home/school relationship to help ensure the success of all of our students. If you ever have questions or need to connect with your child's teachers, please utilize their communication procedure in order to do so. We are all working towards the same goals, so please ensure that our communications between home and school are respectful and kind. (Please see the communication section from the 7/13 edition of The Creek Connector.)
Please take a moment to review these resources as we plan for a successful start to the school year.
