We are sorry to say that there were errors on the report cards that were supposed to go home today. The report cards will be sent home as soon as they are corrected next week.

Small Groups

Every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1:45-2:15 we are doing small group math reviews to refresh concepts from the beginning of the year.

Chromatography Investigation

We are learning about separating mixtures in science. To see the colors found in felt tip ink pens (or markers) separated, allow the filter (coffee filter) to absorb water and separate the colors found in the ink. If you use permanent markers, use rubbing alcohol to separate rather than water.

Geometry Transformations

Students used a letter/number and followed directions to translate, rotate, and reflect it!

Technology Use

As you know, the use of technology is encouraged in our classroom and over the break many students got new technology such as iPads, tablets, iPod/ iTouch, and cell phones.

For your daughter to bring any technological device to school, you must first sign the technology waiver and return it to school. If the device is brought to school, it is for educational purposes only and will only be used at the appropriate time for learning. Students will not be allowed to use their device at lunch or recess.
