Call for Makers

Rochester's Mini Maker Faire is on November 22, and they are looking for local makers willing to rent a booth and share what they do. K-12 schools are invited to set up a booth and receive a ticket discount in return.

There are about 50 booths so far - circuit boards made into wearable art, FIRST Robotics teams, Airigami (you might know them as the parents of 2 of our students), robots, ultra hula hoops - the list goes on.

The deadline is OCTOBER 15. Get that paperwork in! Their website is http://makerfairerochester.com/ . I've got a few posters to hang - send me a quick email and they are yours.

Not a Maker? Attend as an Observer!

This is an awesome event to attend with your family, especially if you have a tinkerer in the house. Find out how others create amazing and cool things - it's an amazing STEM experience for all!
