Hiring Team Members for 2012-2013!

Positions Available:

CEB Chair

The Campus Events Board Chair focuses on overseeing the inner workings of the campus events board. The Chair along with the CEB Advisor will follow up with programmers on progress of positions and support them as seen fit. The Chair is the CEB representative and helps with volunteers and co-sponsorship.

Arts and Issues Programmer
The Arts and Issues Programmer’s focus is awareness campaigns, performances, lecturers, current events and global related issue events and activities on various social justice, cultural, and global topics. The events and activities range from, but are not limited to dance, musical theater, classical, art exhibits, drumming groups, lectures, craft projects, discussion panels, and slam poetry/spoken word.

Special Events Programmer

The Special Events Programmer’s focus is large scale events such as Homecoming Week, Week of Welcome, Spring Fest, etc. This programmer is also responsible for planning and creating traditional campus events such as late night events and co-sponsored events.

Local Adventures Programmer

The Local Adventures Programmer will be focused on events and trips off campus in the Puget Sound Area. This programmer will bring students off campus to learn and explore. Some examples include but are not limited to off campus excursions to sporting events, ice skating rinks, museums, etc.

Series Programmer

The Series Programmer’s focus is to plan and coordinate a consecutive series of events throughout the year. These series consist of coffeehouses, comedy nights, movie series and arts and crafts series.

Marketing and Public Relations Programmer

The Marketing Programmer’s focus is to market and develop advertising campaigns associated with the upcoming events and programs of the Campus Events Board through both social and print media. They will also be responsible for weekly tabling and creating a committee of volunteers.

All positions pay $12-13 per hour and are approximately 15/hrs per week.
