Next week is Spring Break in D15. There will be no school Monday, March 21 through Friday, March 25th. We also wanted to remind you that there is no school on Friday, April 15th. We wish you a relaxing break!
Students have responded well to the adjustment in time and the new schedule. We thank you for your questions, comments and support. Please continue to reach out if you have any issues or ways we can support your family.
Just as a reminder, the school office now opens at 7:25 each day to align with the new schedule, we are at Jane Addams until 4:00 p.m.
Open House is Wednesday, May 4, 2022 6:00-7:15 p.m.
This is an in-person event at Jane Addams
Grades K-2 (and SIP) 6:00-6:30 p.m.
Special Areas 6:30-6:45 p.m.
Grades 3-6 6:45-7:15 p.m.
COVID Mitigations and Safety
As you know, over the last few weeks, we have begun working to move back to our pre-COVID classroom and lunchtime seating routines. Doing so requires us to move furniture back into these spaces over the remaining months of the school year. In some cases, a few other schools have begun implementation while others will be utilizing spring break to allow our custodial team to unearth stored furniture and get schools settled.
If you have any concerns with this change, please reach out to me before spring break begins so I can make arrangements for an alternate lunchroom space in which children will remain 6 feet apart until the school year ends.

Dual Language Information
Thank you to those who completed the Dual Language Parent Interest Form.
We are grateful for those who expressed an interest in the program and wanted to share a link to the application for those who continued to express an interested as March 17 is the last day to complete the form. As a reminder, students have to be fully registered by 3/17 to be considered for placement.
