Lake Victoria
Lake victoria is one of the most amazing sites in Africa. Lake VIctoria is the largest lake in Africa and is located in Tanzania and Uganda. The lake fills a shallow depression in the Great Plateau and has a wealth of fish. The lake victoria region is one of the most densely populated places in africa with lots of fun things to do. Lake Victoria offers private resorts and hotels. Tourists can fish, go on cultural walks, visit wildlife sanctuaries, go bird watching, go on boat trips, and hike around Lake Victoria. Nile River
The Nile River is an amazing place to visit. The Nile River is 4,100 miles long from it's remotest head stream in central Africa to it's delta on the Mediterranean Sea making it the longest river in the world. The Nile flows through parts of Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, and many more countries. The Nile supports lots of agriculture and is an important source of hydroelectric power. Some things tourists can do are bungee jump, kayak, go rafting, and visit temples. You won't regret visiting the Nile!
Mount Kilimanjaro
Mount Kilimanjaro is a must see if you are visiting Africa. Mount Kilimanjaro is located in northeast Tanzania and is the highest mountain in Africa. An extinct volcano, Mount Kilimanjaro rises in 2 peaks: Kibo and Mawenzi. Coffee and plantains are raised in the lower southern slopes. Some things tourists can do are hike/climb the mountain and go bird watching. Mount Kilimanjaro is an experience you will never forget!
Serengeti Plain
The Serengeti Plain is an amazing place to visit. The Serengeti Plain is located in north central Tanzania. It expands 100 miles east and southeast from the southeastern shore of Lake Victoria. The plain has some of the best grassland area in central/east Africa. Tourists can come visit the Serengeti National Park which is a wildlife refuge with more than 500 species of animals. Tourists can also go on a safari in the Serengeti Plain. You won't want to miss out on the Serengeti Plain!
