FOR – Forget about perfection…nobody’s perfect (not me, not you, not your colleagues, your families or your students). Instead strive for continued learning in pursuit of excellence. Challenges are inevitable, learning from them is a choice.

O – Optimism is important

U – Underneath all the duties…the instruction, the teamwork, the meetings, the paperwork, the planning, the worries…remember yourself. Remember to take time for you! You are important and valued! The work you do is critical to children and families. It’s hard to care for others if you don’t take time to care for yourself.
