The Nile River
The Nile River is a large river in Africa that is 4,160 miles long. There is two parts to the Nile, The White Nile and Blue Nile, eventually they come together. The Blue Nile's source is Lake Tana, and The White Nile's is Lake Victoria. Some cool things you can do in the Nile or at the Nile is bungee jump into the river and go in a raft on the river.
Serengeti Plain
The Serengeti Plain is located in central Tanzania, its altitude level is 3,000 feet to 6,000 feet. In the plain is a national park that holds over 500 species!!! Some cool things to do if you ever visit the Plain is of course the National park and see elephants, giraffes, lions, great herds of buffaloes, and leopards are some of the cool animals. Another cool activity is a to go on a balloon tour and see all the wonderful views.
Sahara Desert
The Sahara Desert is the largest desert in the whole world measuring at 3,500,000square miles!!! The desert has very harsh climates and verocious winds. The desert is also bordered by the Atlas Mountains and the Red Sea. Some cool things to do if you ever visit The Sahara Desert include riding a camel with tour guides and setting up your own camp. Another cool thing is you can san board which is like snowboarding except on sand.
Mount Kiliamanjaro
Mount Kiliamanjaro is an extinct volcano located in Northeast Tanzania. It has two peaks the first called Kiba located at 19,340 feet and the other, Mawenzi located at 17,564 feet. On lower slopes coffee and plantains are raised. Activities while visiting the mountain are watching the wildlife in the national park and you can hike the volcano.
