Knitting and Crocheting Club for 4th and 5th Graders

Mrs. Lightstone runs a knitting and crocheting club for interested 4th and 5th Graders during first recess on days 2, 3, and 4. The club starts on January 6 and ends at the end of March. Students can pick and choose what day(s) they attend.

Students who are interested should bring their own knitting needles, crochet hooks and respective yarn. For beginners, choose size 15 or 13 knitting needles or size K, L or M crochet hooks and yarn that works with those sizes. Check the packaging for guidelines or ask someone in the store for assistance.

If you are a knitter or someone who crochets, please let Mrs. Lightstone know if you can periodically assist. Clearances are necessary past 10 hours of volunteering. To contact Mrs. Lightstone, email
