February FREP Theme for Families: Morality

During the month of February, the theme and focus for students and families at FREP will be "Morality." While textbook and lessons will be focused on this very important topic in February, parents and families are also asked to be involved. Parents are asked to be sure to take time to and look at how the various readings and lessons are set up in the text book. The information in the book is great for engaging in rich conversations with children at various levels about the importance of this theme in their lives.

To prepare for discussions on this topic, CLICK HERE to view Father Robert Barron's short video discussion about the link between God and Morality and how that affects and is understood by Catholics.

Catholic Community of Flint Afternoon Prayer and Vesper Service

Thank you Father Zach and Deacon Paul for leading a beautiful afternoon vesper service of prayer and spiritual focus for all who attended praying for so many people and causes on Sunday, January 31st. The program at St. Mary's Catholic Church was well attended and appreciated very much.

Happy 100th Birthday Helen Bade!

For those who were unable attend, below are photos from the birthday celebration of one of St. John Vianney's charter parish members held on January 24, 2016. Helen is one of the most veteran member of FREP since the first year of FREP in 2006. During a brief moment when Dr. Dismond expressed his happiness for all of us to be with Helen to celebrate her special day, she added, "I'm just happy to be here...period!" Happy, happy birthday to a wonderful lady, 100 years young!
