All Men Read Books!
Doby’s Bridge Elementary is excited to announce that we will be having an All Men Read Books Day on Tuesday, March 28th. This is a chance for any male figure in your child’s life to come in and share his love of reading with classes in our building by sharing a few read alouds. Any volunteers who come will need a current background check and a love for reading. We will organize and provide the rest! Please fill out this form indicating any interest by Monday, March 6. Once you have indicated your interest we will be in touch!

The response for our After School Programs coming back has been fantastic. Playball on Mondays has already been filled, so FitLit Kids has opened a Wednesday option that still has some spots left. The Reading Giraffe program has a few spots open as well, so jump on in there if you were considering before it gets full.
Playball is an international child development organization that has been working with children around the world since 1985. Low-pressure classes help ensure boys and girls of ALL athletic abilities can join in the fun, and we integrate skills for seven sports—football, basketball, baseball, kickball, soccer, tennis, and volleyball—into the curriculum. Offered Wednesdays 2:15-3:15 PM for grades K-2nd (March 15 - May 3) $84
Reading Giraffe—where books run wild! By making stories interactive, fun, and ACTIVE adventures, our goal is to create lifelong readers. The curriculum utilizes “The Whole Book Approach” from The Eric Carle Museum to immerse children in picture books, turning tales into exciting adventures in learning.
