From the Office
Happy New Year!
It was great having all of the students back with us this week! We especially enjoyed hearing about all of the travels and experiences they had with friends and family. It can sometimes take a little time to get back into a structured routine after a long break, but everyone seemed to settle in nicely.
This week, our 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams kicked off the official start of the season with two victories over SpringWood and Roselle. In addition, the 7th grade boys basketball team won the Lake Park Middle School tournament over the winter break. Congratulations to both teams on a great start to the season! Next week, the teams play at Wood Dale on Tuesday, January 14th and at home versus Roselle on Thursday, January 16th.
8th Grade
Lake Park counselors will meet with all 8th graders on Monday, January 13th from 8:30 - 9:30am to discuss scheduling for next year. Information regarding Course Selection and Registration will be provided by Lake Park on Monday and at Future Freshman Night.
Looking ahead: Wednesday, January 15th, is a normal attendance day with dismissal at 3:30pm...Wednesday, January 15th, is also Future Freshman Night at Lake Park from 6:00-8:30pm for 8th graders...Tuesday, January 21st begins a new rotation for all Exploratory courses.
Have a wonderful weekend!
