Buffalo Weekly Express
January 25
Welcome Back Buffaloes!
Berryton Families,
What a cold and snowy winter we have experienced so far! Our students and staff are trying so hard to get back into a normal routine, so we are so hoping that next week will allow us to have our first full week of learning for the semester. We are going to join lots of other schools and cheer on our KC Chiefs all week long. Check out the image above to get updates on each day! A few other pieces of noteworthy information:
- Pink Notes- Our cafeteria staff have sent home pink notes regarding low and/or delinquent food service accounts for quite some time. While these pink notes are easily identifiable in backpacks, they can also be a source of embarrassment to our students. Thus, these notes will now be on white paper moving forward.
- Coats, Coats, so many Coats- We have a massive amount of coats that are currently in the Lost and Found. Parents, please take a moment to write your students name somewhere in the back of your student's coat so that we can return it to them if it were to be turned in. If you are looking for your child's coat we invite you to visit the office and we will guide you to all of the coats we have in the Lost and Found.
- Nacho Feed and Silent Auction- The deadline for turning in pre-order forms is Tuesday, January 28. Families can send in these orders with checks, or if you'd like to pay electronically Ms. Tanya can assist you in the office.
- Staff Pick Me Ups- Wanting to celebrate a specific Berryton staff member? Our office staff has access to informational sheet that detail staff favorites for every single Berryton staff member. If you are needing this information reach out to Ms. Tanya or Connie Romig, PTO Head Room Parent Coordinator.
