2-Hour Late Starts

THANK YOU to all of our staff, students and families who made our first 2-Hour Late Start in recent years a success. Thanks to your cooperation, patience and support, we were still able to have a great day of instruction on January 19!

Bowling: District Champions!

CONGRATULATIONS to both the Westside Girls and Boys Bowling Teams, who won their respective District Championships! For the first time in program history, both teams will head to State together under the new leadership of Coach John McDonald.

Signing Day: 19 Warriors Commit To Collegiate Sports

19 Westside Warrior student athletes accepted offers from colleges and universities across the nation as part of February 1 National Signing Day. Our students plan to continue their athletic and academic careers at various institutions next fall. CLICK HERE for more information about each student athlete!

Westside Dance Team Headed to Nationals!

Good luck to Westside Dance as they head to compete in Orlando! Our Warriors are competing in the 2023 National Dance Team Championships; this is the second year in a row Warriors will represent our school on the national stage! GOOD LUCK, WARRIORS!

Behind The Calendar - FEBRUARY

Our featured photo in our printed district calendar for February 2023 showcases two of our Paddock Road Elementary students, Maddox Martin and Jaxson Edkins, named Student of the Month in the 2021-22 school year!

"At Paddock Road, each classroom teacher and specialist teacher has the opportunity to recognize a student of the month who is consistently demonstrating behavior that is safe, respectful, and responsible while at school," said Paddock Road Principal Scott Becker. "This recognition is a great way to celebrate our students who are going above and beyond here at Paddock Road. Each month we have the opportunity to invite these students to the front office for a celebration. Students receive a fun prize and are included in a picture that is displayed in our hallway for all to see. Students of the month also have an opportunity to join for a special lunch with our school counselor. This recognition allows teachers to regularly look for the amazing things are students are doing on a daily basis, and provides an opportunity for our students to celebrate each other as well!"

From Jaxson's family: 'Jaxson says he feels proud and excited to be chosen as Student of the Month. He hopes to get Student of the Month again and is excited to see his friends get the chance as well!'
