What's Happening?
We are finalizing all of our learning units before we head into the Winter Break. Please be sure to watch the newsletters closely for test dates.

In this week's Friday Folder:
What are we learning?
Math (Mrs. Lee's Class): We are learning how to multiply fractions by whole numbers and other fractions and mixed numbers. Fractions 1 test corrections will be on Friday, 12/13. The fraction unit test will be on Wednesday, 12/18 with test corrections the following day.
Science (Mrs. Lee's Class): We are learning about physical and chemical changes. The test for physical and chemical changes will be on 12/17 with retakes on 12/19
Social Studies: We are finishing the Great Depression Era. The test will be on Friday, 12/13. The retake will be on 12/18.
Writing: Students are working on writing an imaginative narrative. These are always fun!
Reading: We are continuing on focus on nonfiction reading. Students have chosen a topic to read and learn about. This will also serve as research for their choice informational text in writing that we will do later.
Word Study: using syllables to determine correct spelling of words.
