Fall Parent Teacher Conferences/Progress Reports
We are nearing the middle of the first trimester and our Fall Parent Teacher Conferences. All parents of students in kindergarten through grade 8 are strongly encouraged to come in to meet with their child’s teacher on Thursday, October 10 and Friday, October 11. School will dismiss at 2pm both days to allow time for conferences. Aftercare will be available until 6pm.
Kindergarten through Grade 5: Conferences are scheduled with homeroom teachers for ten minutes. A scheduling form was sent home in the white envelope two weeks ago. Please be sure to return it at your earliest convenience. Once scheduled, the form will be returned to you to confirm your time.
Middle School: Parents are encouraged to pick up their child’s progress reports from the middle school hallway. Teachers will be available for parents to drop in and have a conference with teachers of their choosing. Times are: Thursday, October 10th from 2:30pm-6:00pm and Friday, October 12th from 2:30pm-3:30pm.
Please plan to join us on Tuesday, October15 at 6:00pm in the Parish Center for a screening of the award winning documentary, Screenagers. We would especially like to invite all students in grades five through eight along with their parents. The film is approximately 67 minutes long and deals with social media, video games, academics, and internet addiction. O Blessed Joseph, faithful guardian of my Redeemer, Jesus Christ, protector of Mary, the virgin Mother of God, I choose you this day to be my special patron and advocate and I firmly resolve to honor you all the days of my life. Therefore I humbly ask you to receive me as your client, to instruct me in every doubt, to comfort me in every affliction, to obtain for me and for all the knowledge and love of the Heart of Jesus, and finally to defend and protect me at the hour of my death.
